Extended barrel ageing in French barrique complements the phenomenal structure and concentration of the fruit from this iconic growing region. Rich, ripe, luscious in character, with integrated tannins provides a mature quality to this wine. Deep ruby in color, beguiling aromas of cassis, black cherry, and cardamom are only achieved through extended ageing in French oak. This savory, beautiful and complex wine is rich and ripe on the palate and evokes images of the great vintages of Bordeaux through its unfolding layers.
